Girls Camp June 24-27!!!

For those of you that don't already know I have been in Young Women's for almost 3 years. Two months after we bought our home I was called to be the 2nd councilor, and then later I was called to be the camp director.  Last year a week before girls camp I was called to be the Young Women's President.  I wasn't able to find a camp director in that short of time, so with the help of my assistants and secretary it actually turned out great.  For this year I had several months to find a great camp director, which happened to be one of my assistants.  She did a great job and everything worked out really well.  We had a great year this year.  Every year we have more and more girls to coming to camp.  My first year there was only 5, and then 8 last year, and this year we had 11 girls even though 3 other girls weren't able to make it!  How great it has been to see our ward's Young Women program grow.

This year I was able to be up at girl's camp the whole week and it was so nice to be there as a leader and stay on the sidelines and just give support to the camp leaders.  It was a lot work, but I had so much fun.  It was worth all the time and sacrifice to watch those girls grow so much in one week.  I have come to love these girls over the years.  I am so grateful to be able to serve in the Young Women's program.  I love Girls Camp!!!
