Birthday Surprise

Thursday, Ryan's Dad flew into Atlanta from Idaho Falls around 2:00 pm, and Ryan picked him up from the airport to bring him back to our apartment to show him around a little before flying out to El Paso, Texas. For those of you who might not know where El Paso, Texas is located don't worry because it sits between the middle of nowhere and hinterland. The reason for this trip was to visit Ryan's Grandpa C.W. for his birthday on Friday the 20th, and to make it even more exciting Ryan's aunt came along with us to surprise Grandpa C.W. on his birthday. We all showed up at his door Thursday night and yelled, "Surprise!"

Watch out for the cactus!

Has anyone seen the movie Glory Road?
Well, it took place in El Paso and we took a picture
next to the road sign that read "Glory Road".

El Paso sits right next to Juarez, Mexico and now this
is officially the closest I have been to Mexico.

We went to Stahmanns famous pecan farms for ice cream.

Birthday Dinner at La Terraza with everyone.

Make a wish! Happy 72 Birthday!

Stick 'em up!

Saturday night we went to dinner at Cattlemans and it was awesome.
To be honest, it was the best steak restaurant I have ever been to.

Don't get too close!
