Long Over Due Update!

Okay, I know it feels like years since we have updated and you many be wondering where we have been. If I updated the blog all the way back to the end of January it would be the longest post in the world, so I thought I would save us all some time and just give you a little run through.

The beginning of February we went to El Paso, Texas for Grandpa CW's funeral. We wish we would have been able get together as family and friends for a better occasion, but all in all it was good to be able to be there and honor Ryan's grandpa.

The weekend of February 19-23 we went to Bear Lake, Utah for the annual mission buddy reunion (This year is our 6th year). We didn't get any pictures for our trip because we forgot our camera. However, we had a wonderful time and look forward to next year already. Thanks again Tucker and Dana.

Over the past few months it has snowed three times, which is very odd for Georgia, but we loved seeing the snow as it is very nostalgic.

Since the beginning of March I have been busy with work, craft projects, and getting over a cold. This is not normal for me to have my house like this.

I was asked to help with a quilt project in our ward for our bishop. Each family did there own square and this was the square I made for the Inns Family.

This is the quilt laid out and ready to be sewn together.

I have also been working on head bands and bows for flower girls in a friend's wedding and I think they turned out very cute.

I have been also working on some projects for a friend to sell at a pharmacy near our house. The projects are nursing cover ups and dipper/wiper holders. I only have a picture of the holder, but I am sure you understand what a nursing cover up is.

I also tried two new recipes: Fruit Pizza and Black Bean Noodle Soup. Both of them very yummy.

We hope you enjoyed our update.

Wow, busy lady! It sounds like things are going well, though (other than the cold) which I'm happy to hear. Tell Ryan hi for us. Your fruit pizza looks delicious! I'll bet your nursing cover ups are cute. How do you make them?
