Our summer here in ATL has been really different from last summer. Last summer we enjoyed mild temperatures and hardly any humidity. This summer, in contrast is very HOT and HUMID. We keep telling each other, "We are glad our families came out last summer." because with this type of weather being outside for too long is miserable. Also related to the weather, and for those who know my hair type you will understand, is my hair. Almost everyday my hair is up in a pony tail or curly because it is too difficult to maintain it straight. I tried, in vain, several times to style my hair straight and each time I find myself trying to constantly keep it straight, and seeing that it was a war I couldn't win, I just gave up. I keep telling Ryan that I am going to cut it short, but these threats are all hollow because I know he loves my long hair. Anyways, Ryan is enjoying his break from school, and his schedule with work has changed such that we can spend time together in the evenings. We have thoroughly enjoyed being together. Needless to say, we are enjoying our air conditioned home and jobs. We love pool days, and always wish for more.
Most of you know we are going to Idaho/Utah this upcoming week. We are going to Idaho for the holiday, and then we are going to Utah the following weekend for a wedding. We are excited to come out so that we can visit our dear family and friends. I will be out there the whole two weeks, but Ryan is going to be coming back and forth for work. It is going to be busy and we can't wait to see everyone.

Heather... this is Kristin, I don't know if you remember me from Amber's wedding. Anyway, So I was in Georgia last week (my parents are in the Paper Mill Ward) And I was having my hair done by Brittany Hutchison, and she mentioned your name. I knew I recognized your name, but couldn't figure out how... Then it hit me, it's Amber's BFF!! What a small world!
