My grandfather passed away yesterday evening after spending a month in the ICU in Idaho Falls. My family made the decision to take him off life support because his condition was not improving. It happened rather suddenly as we all thought and believed he would be beat his illness, and there were times in the last month where he showed some improvement and we thought he would, but it wasn't so. It just was his time. I will miss my grandfather terribly as he was a wonderful man. He loved his family more than any of his earthly possessions, even his golf cart and clubs, and we all loved him. I am going to miss sitting on his lap while he told me stories; something that I have always done even into adulthood. It is comforting to know where he is now and that he is no longer suffering. We loved you grandpa and we will always love you.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Heather. It's so hard to lose a loved one. What a wonderful blessing the knowledge of the Gospel is, isn't it? How are you doing?
