Atlanta Temple

Last Saturday we had the opportunity to attend the Youth Cultural Celebration before the Atlanta temple was re-dedicated.  The local youth did a wonderful job in their performances.  I could feel the spirit and love through these young men and women. Also, the prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, was at the celebration and sat relatively close to us, which is the closest I have ever been to him.  He is a great man, and I love his big smile and laugh.

Last Sunday, the Atlanta Temple was re-dedicated.  It was a wonderful experience to hear the words of the prophet and many others in regards to the temple.  Here are some of the thought I took away from the re-dedication:
  • The temple is a place where we can remember.
  • If we don't DO then why are we here?
  • We should always come out of the temple with new focus and comforted, refreshed spirits.
  • We need to have time for Christ.
