Temple Trip

Ryan's mom came to visit us in October and she wanted to visit a couple of temples while she was here.   She really wanted to visit a foreign temple, so we ended up flying to El Salvador to visit their newly dedicated temple in San Salvador.  Of course, the temple was beautiful.  We planned for a couple of days to explore but a torrential rain storm was coming through the area.  The rain was so bad that bridges, roads, and homes were being washed away.  After much effort we attempted to visit a couple tourist attractions but as we arrived learned they all were closed due to the storms.  For this reason, we spent a lot of time playing games in the hotel and enjoying each other's company.

The day after we returned from El Salvador, Ryan's mom and I visited the the Birmingham, Alabama Temple.  We started the day early and was back in Atlanta with enough time to relax and watch a movie.
