Chicago Illinois

At the beginning of December Ryan's mom came to Atlanta for a short visit.  The day she arrived we went to the fabric store and picked out some material for a quilt she is planning to make for us. Ryan had something going on that night so it was a good time to go.

On Friday, Ryan took the day off and we took mom to see the house we put an offer on.  After showing her the house we stopped by Firehouse and then we went to the Atlanta Temple, which was mom's first time since they renovated it.  The rest of the night we searched for a iPad mini at both of the apple stores in Atlanta with no luck.  Ryan wanted it for his upcoming trip to Singapore but we ended up having to buy it online, so he will just have to use it on his next trip.

The next day we picked up Ryan's new glasses at the post office because we missed the delivery.  After getting Ryan's glasses we headed down to the airport to catch a flight to Chicago, Illinois. We made the flight, got a rental car, and drove immediately to the Temple.  After leaving the Temple and before catching our flight back we found a yummy Chinese restaurant to eat lunch.  We returned the car, caught our flight, went to Moe's for dinner, and then called it a night.

 

The next day Ryan left for a two week business trip to Singapore.  It was hard to say good bye because we just found out about this trip a couple of days ago.  Ryan's mom was going to leave on Sunday, but she stayed with me an extra day after Ryan left. We went to church and then had a relaxing night playing games, went to a friends for dessert, and then watched a Christmas movie.  She was able to get on a flight the next morning and made it home in the same day.  It was short but always a great time.
