1st Project All By Myself...

Along with everyone's help I was able to complete my first sewing project on my new sewing machine. Thank you for all the pictures, comments, suggestions, and answers to all my questions because to be honest I would not have been able to do it without your help.

All laid out ready to start.

The top 3 rows done.

With me not feeling so good lately and Ryan having to work Saturday during Conference, I was forced to stay inside. So, I went crazy and finished my quilt. I ended up multitasking by setting up the laptop on the kitchen table to watched/listened to conference while sewing at the same time. Then, on Sunday with conference not starting until noon we slept in, had breakfast, and then went over to our friend's house, Sean and Ashley, to watch conference. By this time I had the entire quilt sewn and so I finished it off be cutting all the fabric on the rag side of the quilt while we watched conference. In all, I was able to soak in some very spiritual messages while finishing my rag quilt, and that is what I call a good time.

All washed and ready to use.

Heather, I finally got around to getting a sign-on so I can comment. The quilt is AWESOME! I've made a few of those rag quilts. Diet coke print for me, a polar fleece for Kamiah and a plaid flannel for my sis and a firehat print for Dan. They are fun and quick and easy. Miss ya!
