As some of you know I have signed up for the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon here in Atlanta. I am both excited and nervous because this is my first half marathon. My longest race before was a measly 5K, so as you could imagine this is quite the challenge for me. Anyway, I know I am training right and will be ready for the big day. I have also convinced some girl friends to do it with me. It sure helps the training go a little easier with someone else pushing me along.

I bought some new running shorts and shoes just for this race, and I never thought buying running stuff could be so much fun. There is a lot of neat things to buy and I continually found myself justifying other miscellaneous items for running. Where does it stop?

Wish me luck.

Yay! It's just like a walk in the park. I also signed up for a half marathon here I guess around the same time as yours...Dec 5th. But, unlike you, I haven't been training...argh! Good luck on yours...we'll have to compare (our misery) afterwards!
You look so cute! I love those shoes. I wish I had a desire to do a marathon, or run, or even walk fast!!! Good luck girl!!
