Canning Kick!

Last Sunday was the start of it all. I made and canned salsa, which was my first canning experience. With help from local friends and distant family I was able to can my salsa. Now, only a week has past and the salsa is nearly half gone already. I guess I will have to triple the recipe and can some more, or just tell Ryan to stop eating all of my salsa. Anyway, the following Tuesday and Wednesday some friends and me canned apple sauce and apple pie filling from scratch. I never thought canning could be so exciting and exhausting at the same time.
