Girls Camp

This year I went to girls camp on Tuesday night so I could watch the girls perform their skit.  The skit went as planned, and the girls even made a few last minutes contributions that made it even better.

The skit was good girls versus bad girls with corresponding tattoos.

After the skits we celebrated our success with snow cones.

I stayed Tuesday night to help out in the kitchen all day on Wednesday.  To be honest, it was hard work, but I had lots of fun with the other ward sisters who helped.   For the first time, I was not in charge of anything, and to just help out was so much fun.  I love girls camp.   It has a special place in my heart because of my experience as a youth. I remember how much my mother loved it and that desire must have carried over to me.

Looks like tons of fun! I agree with you about helping out and just chatting instead of being in charge of something. Looks like you girls partied.

I saw your mom's blog and come to find out, your mom was my bus driver! So funny. My maiden name was Blatter (pronouced Blotter). Hahaha. Small world. You'll have to tell her hi for me. She drove most of us Blatter kids on the bus.
