St. Louis

We went to St. Louis for a couple of days to take care of some things and while we were there we decided to also take in the sites.  We visited the Arch, which is an amazing piece of architecture, and did you know there was an elevator inside the arch that goes to the top? Anyway, given that the arch is close to the downtown area we took a quick stroll through some parks as well.

After our little walk, we drove to a BBQ joint named Pappy's for lunch before heading over to the Scottrade Center to watch a Blues game.  This was my first professional hockey game ever, and I had a lot of fun getting into the game.  The game was tied 0 - 0 until last few minutes when the Blues scored an awesome give an take goal.

The morning before our flight left for Atlanta, we took some time to visit the St. Louis Temple.  You can tell by the picture that is was a cold day, much colder than yesterday.  I was surprised to find it to be so cold in this area.  I guess I always thought it was colder further north, but St. Louis proved me wrong.

I'm so glad you found my blog! I love when I find new blogs. Jordan is so jealous that you got to go to a professional hockey game. He LOVES any sporting event. I'm glad that you got to see some cool sights. I've never been to St. Louis. Just drove through it on the drive to Atlanta. You two are quite the travelers.
