We are trying to get all our backpacking gear so that we can experience the outdoors more this year. We got our tent a couple months ago, and I wanted to try camping inside the apartment. However, Ryan said that we needed the sleeping bags first, and we just received them in the mail. So we set it up in the apartment and slept in it for the night.
Ryan told me he would do it on the condition that I set up the tent. Given that I really wanted to sleep in the tent I was quick to set it up. It only took me about five minutes, and Ryan seemed impressed. I am shocked that he thinks I can't pitch me own tent.
Well, the night started out fine but around 3:00 am I wanted to go back into our bed. I just could not get comfortable on my little air mattress, but I am sure that after hiking for an entire day I won't care about comfort. Also, it is hard to remain uncomfortable when I know there is a lofty, warm bed one room away.

You go girl! And I definitely don't blame you for sneaking back into your real bed. I mean, it's right there! I would have done the same thing.
