Saturday was quite a day. In the late morning we went to the baptism of a close friend's daughter, then stopped by another friend's annual Memorial Day BBQ (sorry no pictures), and then met up with Ryan's cousin Jeff and his son Parker for dinner at Swallow at the Hollow in Roswell, which happened to be more BBQ. Needless to say, we consumed several thousand scrumptious calories that day.
So, on Memorial Day we started out early before it became too hot by playing
kickball. One friend that came happened to be
one of Ryan's childhood playmates (Paul), so it was cool watching them
reminiscence about Reinhart Park and other Idaho related things.
Anyways, our camera was having some problems, and if it wasn't for
Jessie (Paul's wife) we wouldn't have any pictures documenting this
momentous event. You can check them out here.
Soon after finishing our game of kickball we went with the Dance Family to Amicalola Falls in Northern Georgia. There were a lot of stairs, I think over 600, to reach the top of the falls. After climbing up and down the stairs we found a picnic table and made lunch. If it wasn't for the massive quantity of insects we would have staid longer, but we still enjoyed the time we did spend outside of the city.
