On Monday we got up really early because of the time change and relaxed until we had to get ready for the day and head into Idaho Falls. We got into Idaho Falls and ran some errands, and then we met up with Adam and Kandis for lunch at Scotty's Drive-In. We basically forced them to meet us there for lunch because Kandis, being a native of Idaho Falls, had never been to Scotty's. It all started a couple of weeks ago when Ryan went to the Varsity (Atlanta's pride and joy) with some guys from work and was not impressed at all, and later we were talking to Adam and Kandis about Ryan's experience. Ryan said that Scotty's in Idaho Falls was way better and much more economical, but when he asked Kandis to confirm she couldn't because she had never been to Scotty's. We told her that she could not consider herself a true Idaho Falls native without going to Scotty's, so we told them that since we are going to be in Idaho Falls at the same time we would have to meet up there and prove our point.
After Scotty's we went over to my parent's house to visit with them, and then we out to Ryan's Mom's house for dinner and had a good visit with them as well. Afterwards, we headed back to Ryan's Dad's house to crash. I thought I was tired and ready for bed but Brenda was still awake when we got back so we went downstairs and talked for a little while. Well, it didn't take long until Ryan went to bed, but I stayed up with Brenda until 12:45 am talking about random stuff.
It was so fun seeing all our parents and visiting with all of them. We miss them all so much and love them with all our hearts. We are so lucky to have 3 sets of parents that loves and supports us.

I must say that the one (and only) time we went to Scotty's it was a DISASTER!!! There was more grease in our food than anything else. The fries and tator tots were so greasy you could squeeze them and the grease would drip off. The burgers were soggy and the "chocolate" shake was far from so. Needless to say we have not been back. I'd heard Scotty's is so yummy... we must have gone on a bad day.
It sounds like you had a fun visit. Isn't family wonderful????
Your trips sounds like they were tonz of fun! I would love to go visit Atlanta myself. There are some things I miss about Idaho Falls too and of course family being one of them like you mentioned.
