Our first day in Paris was very exciting. We started the day off with Notre-Dame, then over to the beautiful Sainte-Chapelle. Afterward we got some sandwiches and continued on our day with Musee Rodin and finishing off the day with the Eiffel Tour and the Arc de Triomphe. It was amazing to actually be in Paris and see all the sites you hear people talking about.

Day 4:We started early to catch the RER to Versailles. We were there for nearly the whole day because anything less would not do Versailles justice. Everything was beautiful. I particularly enjoyed walking through Marie Antoinette's Hamlet she made for herself. The gardens and the little houses were adorable. Then we ended our long day at the Louvre for about 2 hours.

Day 5:For Ryan's mom's last day in Paris we began at the Musee de L'Orangerie, then over to the Musee de L'Armee. Close by was the Hotel des Invalides ( Les Invalides) where Napoleon Bonaparte tomb is located. Our next stop was the Musee d 'Orsay, which had some very interesting pieces including several by van Gogh, Delacroix, Renoir, and Ingres. Then we went to a St. Sulpice Cathedral although we weren't able to see a lot because a service was being conducted. To top off the day we found a gelateria for some delicious and decorative gelato.
