Mom In ATL

The original plan was to meet Ryan's mom in Boston to visit the Temple, but our tardiness and the nature of flying stand-by left us stranded in Atlanta.  So, instead of moping we decided to find something in Atlanta to entertain us and we stumbled across the Inman Park Festival.

The festival was interesting and fun to experience.  We enjoyed all the art and craft booths as well as some of the food booths.  We found the King of Pops booth to be particularly delicious.  They are a start-up from Atlanta that specializes in gourmet popsicles, and sell popsicles flavors such as Coconut Lemongrass and Grapefruit Pomegranate.   If you ever come across them definitely give them a try!

Once we finished exploring the booths at the festival we went to a restaraunt for a more substantial meal for dinner. The restaurant is called Six Feet Under and is one of the best seafood eateries in Atlanta.  Its name is derived from the fact that it is located directly across the street from a cemetery.

The next day, a Sunday, Ryan's mom flew out to Washington DC for her training courses.  It was a quick visit, but we enjoyed our time with her.

Also, as a side note, I apologize for all the stock images in my post this time.  I forgot my camera that day but wanted to put some images in the post to give it more pizazz.  I promise that I'll do better next time.
